Arts Apartments

Status: Under Construction
Designed and detailed a new four-story, wood-framed apartment building in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. Key structural elements include timber piling, a raised concrete first floor with stem walls, and wood framing. Civil elements involve a stormwater management system, permeable paving, and site grading.

Bastion - Phase 3

Status: Pre-Construction
Designed and detailed a new two-story, wood-framed office building in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. Key structural elements include timber piling, a raised concrete first floor with stem walls, and a combination of wood and steel framing.
Hotel Peter and Paul
New Orleans, LA
Engineer: Joshua Juneau, P.E.
Renovation of existing school, rectory, convent, and church buildings along with full site development. Extensive structural remediation for termite and water damage. Additional fourth floor and mezzanine levels were integrated into the existing building.
The Brandywine
Metairie, LA
Engineer: Joshua Juneau, P.E.
Renovation of existing four-story building. Key design elements include the addition of a parking mezzanine between the first and second floors and a penthouse and a pool on the fifth floor. The penthouse structure is constructed from cold-formed steel. The mezzanine structure is constructed with integrated precast panels and steel beams tying into existing heavy timber columns. Other design challenges include removing two columns and a load-bearing masonry wall
Iberville Redevelopment Phase 5 and 6
New Orleans, LA
Engineer: Joshua Juneau, P.E.
Phases 5 and 6 of this project consisted of two four-story multi-family buildings, twenty-six town homes, and four historic renovations. The structures consisted of wood framing with integrated steel where necessary. Construction documents for Phases 5 and 6 were completed within 2 and 3 months, respectively.
